Window-Eyes 4.5 SP 1 may only be installed over version 4.5 (either Standard or Professional) and is independent of copy protection or localized language. Do not install SP1 if you have any version other than 4.5.

We are not content to meet minimum requirements or trade off frilly features for stability. We know you made the choice to use Window-Eyes because you want the best. Thanks to the new Error Reporting feature of Window-Eyes 4.5, we have been able to identify, and quickly solve the following items:

1. We fixed the Startup Type (Load Before Startup) problem under Windows 2000, XP and 2003. At this time, we feel all startup issues with Window-Eyes have been resolved.
2. When you press the spacebar on a checkbox while in MSAA mode the entire web page would always reload. Now only if the page changes will it reload.
3. We increased performance which is most noticeable in the Windows XP All Files and Folders Search edit box.

In addition to these items we also corrected the following, smaller items:

• We received an error report that had a speech32 blowup when changing synthesizers. This is fixed.
• Depending on how you installed your Citrix Client software we may not be able to find it to install the virtual channel. This is fixed.
• There was a problem launching Window-Eyes under Windows Server 2003. This is fixed.
• Several error reports relating to MSAA mode are fixed.
• Several error reports relating to general usage are fixed.
• If you pick the DoubleTalk PC in 9x/Me but you don't really have it installed it would hang your system. This is fixed.

Thanks to everyone that allowed the Error Reporting feature to do what it is designed to do - help us make the best product we can.
